I made this Christmas tree using rich red glass beads and grey plastic skull beads on steel wire. It measures 7.5cm (3") wide and (excluding the hanging loop) 11cm (just over 4") high. The steel wire I've used has a much warmer, yellowish tone than is normally seen in steel, giving an almost golden colour which compliments the red beads well. The red ribbon this decoration hangs from also tones well with the red beads.
Haha, yes. Not intentional while I was making it, but afterwards I did think that
I have thought in the past that I would love to decorate my home in a more Gothic style at Christmas, TNBC style, and I suppose that's where the idea came from. Plus, a lot of what I do leans towards the dark side, so I had to include a little of that in my Christmas range
