Artist's Comments
These small compositions involve trees in silhouette against various coloured skies. They were painted in acrylic paints and metallic poster paint. The cards on which most of them were painted measure 6.5cm (2.5") wide, by just over 8cm (3.5") tall, as is standard with ACEOs, although the red and purple ones are slightly shorter, at 6.5cm (2.5") wide by just over 8cm (3.25") tall.
ACEO stands for "Art Cards: Editions and Originals". Many artists offer these cards as an inexpensive way to buy a small piece of their art. My ACEOs look great displayed on their own, but would look even better in a group with other art cards. See the ACEO section of my Etsy shop for more. |
